For the eleventh time, the weekly “Polityka” together with the consulting company Deloitte and the Responsible Business Forum awarded “CSR Leaves of Polityka”. Among the awarded companies is Gdańsk Transport Company S.A., which for the second time received the White CSR Leaf.
GTC S.A., as a socially responsible company, has been conducting social campaigns and implementing real activities towards sustainable development, both pro-ecological as well as information and educational activities regarding the safety of travelers and the development of local communities.
This year we have completed works on our ESG Strategy, which operates on three pillars: Green Motorway, Safe Motorway and Reliable Partner and Employer. Each of the pillars focuses on aspects related to environmental protection, safety of all people on the motorway and corporate governance and friendly workplace issues that are important from the point of view of our business.
GTC continues to take ESG very seriously, and at the heart of our focus is how we can make a positive contribution to building a more sustainable world. The White Leaf CSR of Polityka for GTC is a distinction for us and a confirmation that the adopted approach to sustainable development issues is the right direction – says Torbjörn Nohrstedt, President of the Management Board of GTC.
The list “CSR Leaves of POLITYKA” is based on an analysis carried out jointly with the consulting company Deloitte. The ratings were awarded on the basis of an analysis based on a survey completed by companies, developed in accordance with the guidelines of the ISO 26000 standard. This year’s survey involved 126 entities. Of these, 82 companies won awards.
