CSR POLITYKA LEAF for GTC S.A., concessionaire of AmberOne A1 Motorway

For the tenth time, the weekly “POLITYKA” together with the consulting firm Deloitte and the Forum for Responsible Business have awarded “CSR POLITYKA Leaves”. Among the distinguished companies is Gdańsk Transport Company S.A., which received the CSR White Leaf.

GTC S.A., as a socially responsible company, has been running social campaigns for years and implementing real actions towards sustainable development, both ecological, information and education regarding the safety of travellers and development of local communities.

The pillars of the CSR strategy are three programs: “Safety my second name”, which aims to increase the level of safety of Polish road users, “AmberOne Close to Us”, which supports small local initiatives and improves the quality of life of local communities, and “AmberGreen”, which focuses on the implementation of new “green” solutions aimed at protecting the climate.

“Thinking in terms of sustainability from the very beginning of the AmberOne A1 Motorway project is an integral part of GTC’s strategy, and CSR issues have always been at the heart of our attention. The CSR white leaf for GTC is a great honour for us and confirmation that the approach taken to sustainability issues is in the right direction,” says Torbjörn Nohrstedt, CEO of GTC.

The summary of “CSR POLITYKA Leaves” is based on an analysis carried out jointly with Deloitte consulting company, in which representatives of the largest Polish companies present their activities in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. This year’s survey involved 124 companies.
