Information about traffic conditions on AmberOne A1 Motorway.

The Twitter functionalities enables the Operator of the A1 AmberOne Motorway to provide real time information on the traffic conditions or potential hindrances one may face on the road. Visit us at www.twitter.com/AmberOne_A1 .
Additionally information about traffic conditions on AmberOne are also provided by Radio Gdańsk at 107,3 FM, Radio PiK at 100,1 FM and Dzień na Zywo Trojmiasto by Gazeta Wyborcza.
Furthermore information about traffic conditions can be found on:
VMS located along the Motorway in such a way that they allow the driver to decide to leave the motorway earlier. VMS includes information about waiting time on toll plazas.
Same information is placed on ticket machines on entry on the motorway.
Messages on issues which might significantly affect the comfort or safety of using the motorway will facilitate the drivers to plan their journeys.

Attention Driver, rescue services exercises on A1!

On 5 December, on the A1 motorway at the level of the Kleszczewko MOP, rescue services will carry out exercises consisting in the simulation of an accident. If you notice an accident between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. while driving past the Kleszczewko MOP, please do not call the Operator’s emergency phone number or other rescue services with information about the accident, because during these hours the Kleszczewko MOP will be the place of exercises.

In connection with the planned exercises, the following will take place:

– closing the lane in the direction of Gdańsk and redirecting traffic through the Kleszczewko MOP – parking at the Kleszczewko MOP in the direction of Gdańsk will be inaccessible to heavy goods vehicles
