In December, renovation works on the AmberOne A1 Motorway were completed, during their implementation:
- 8 sections of the motorway were renovated
- a total of 54 km of pavement was replaced
- more than 200,000 tons of bituminous mass produced
- more than 150 people were involved in the renovation work during peak periods
- over 80 pcs. equipment intended for the implementation of construction works
The year 2024 is not only about works related to the replacement of the surface, but also about the replacement of lighting. Last year, about 4000 old lighting fixtures were replaced with modern LED luminaires. We estimate that thanks to the exchange, the demand for electricity will drop by about 40-50%, which will primarily significantly reduce the CO2 emissions of the entire motorway project. Energy savings are not everything, the light colour of 3000 K used in the luminaires is characterized by an eye-friendly colour, the lighting does not dazzle drivers and perfectly illuminates the road, in addition, it does not pollute the environment and becomes environmentally friendly lighting.
The next stage of renovation works is scheduled for the spring of next year, the beginning of works depends on weather conditions, and we will inform you about the details of the planned works in advance.
