On 25 September, works will begin at km 0 to 2+420 at the Rusocin junction. The works were divided into 4 stages. Stage 1 will consist of partial closure of the gates in the direction of Łódź. Work is still underway on the section at km 24+600 to 30+000between the Swarożyn-Pelplin junctions, where the roadway in the direction of Łódź will be renovated, and traffic will take place in two lanes in the direction of Gdańsk and one lane in the direction of Łódź. In addition, the Swarożyn junction in the direction of Łódź will be closed. At the interchange, it is not possible to exit the motorway in the direction of Tczew or enter the motorway in the direction of Łódź. Works on this section should be completed at the end of September.
Works are still ongoing on the section at km 65+150 to 74+980 between the Kopytkowo – Warlubie junctions. On the renovated section, traffic runs on two lanes in the direction of Łódź and one lane in the direction of Gdańsk, in addition, the Warlubie junction in the direction of Gdańsk is closed. At the interchange, it is not possible to exit the motorway in the direction of Warlubie or enter the motorway in the direction of Gdańsk. In addition, the Gajewo MOP in the direction of Gdańsk is closed. Works on this section should be completed at the end of October, their completion depends on weather conditions.The speed limit on the renovated sections is 80 km/h.
