Completion of works on the 7-km section of the Motorway in the direction of Łódź (km 2+200 to km 9+250)

On 20 October this year, it is planned to complete renovation works on a 7-kilometre section of the Motorway in the direction of Łódź (km 2+200 to km 9+250) and to open the Kleszczewko MOP in the direction of Łódź.

Until mid-November, work will continue on a six-kilometre section of the Motorway towards Gdańsk (km 26+550 to km 20+460), where traffic runs in two lanes in the direction of Łódź and one lane in the direction of Gdańsk. In addition, vehicles heading towards Gdańsk will not be able to exit or enter at the Swarożyn junction. The completion of the works depends on weather conditions.

The speed limit on the renovated section is 80 km/h.

Drivers are asked to concentrate more closely and follow the signs of temporary traffic organization.

Attention Driver, rescue services exercises on A1!

On 5 December, on the A1 motorway at the level of the Kleszczewko MOP, rescue services will carry out exercises consisting in the simulation of an accident. If you notice an accident between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. while driving past the Kleszczewko MOP, please do not call the Operator’s emergency phone number or other rescue services with information about the accident, because during these hours the Kleszczewko MOP will be the place of exercises.

In connection with the planned exercises, the following will take place:

– closing the lane in the direction of Gdańsk and redirecting traffic through the Kleszczewko MOP – parking at the Kleszczewko MOP in the direction of Gdańsk will be inaccessible to heavy goods vehicles
