On June 30, the renovation of another section will begin. The section from km 43+350 to km 50+600 between the Pelplin and Kopytkowo junctions will be renovated. On this section, the roadway in the direction of Łódź will be renovated, and traffic will take place in two lanes in the direction of Gdańsk and one lane in the direction of Łódź.
Work on this section will take about six weeks.
Work is still underway on a 9-kilometre section – from km 81+300 to km 90+000, between the Warlubie – Nowe Marzy junctions. On this section, the roadway in the direction of Gdańsk is being renovated, traffic is taking place in two lanes in the direction of Łódź and one lane in the direction of Gdańsk.
The Nowe Marzy junction remains closed in the direction of Gdańsk, which means that vehicles going in the direction of Gdańsk cannot enter the motorway in the direction of Gdańsk or exit the motorway onto the S5 expressway and the national road DK91.
The planned completion of works on this section is mid-July, the completion of works depends on weather conditions.
The speed limit on the renovated section is 80 km/h.
Drivers are asked to increase concentration and follow the temporary traffic organization signs.
