On 12 August, works will begin on the section at km 24+30 between the Swarożyn-Pelplin junctions, where the roadway in the direction of Łódź will be renovated, and traffic will take place on two lanes in the direction of Gdańsk and one lane in the direction of Łódź. In addition, the Swarożyn junction in the direction of Łódź will be closed. At the interchange, it is not possible to exit the motorway in the direction of Tczew or enter the motorway in the direction of Łódź. Works on this section will take about 7 weeks, their completion depends on weather conditions.
Work is still underway at km 50+57 between the Pelplin – Kopytkowo junctions, where the roadway in the direction of Gdańsk is being renovated, and traffic is moving in two lanes in the direction of Łódź and one lane in the direction of Gdańsk. Renovation works on this section should be completed at the beginning of September.
The speed limit on the renovated sections is 80 km/h.
Drivers are asked to increase concentration and follow the temporary traffic organization signs.
