Gdańsk Transport Company has signed a cooperation agreement with WITD in Bydgoszcz.

Gdańsk Transport Company S.A., out of concern for the state of road safety in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Provincial Inspectorate of Road Transport in Bydgoszcz.

The main objective of the agreement is to eliminate overloaded vehicles and vehicles in improper technical condition from road traffic, as well as to expose drivers who perform unauthorised manipulations and interference with the operation of tachographs. All these aspects have a significant impact on the safety of travel on the A1 Motorway.

The agreement is a formal confirmation of cooperation with ITD, under which regular inspection activities of heavy goods vehicles and educational and preventive events, such as the “Safe Coach” holiday campaign, have been carried out on the motorway for years.

The signed agreement is part of AmberOne’s A1 Motorway efforts to increase safety on the Motorway.
