A1 AmberOne Motorway see to safe travelling and teach first aid.

The A1 AmberOne Motorway and the Traffic Department of the Voivodship Police Headquarters in Gdańsk have taken the initiative of seeing to the safety of the AmberOne A1 Motorway users and to that effect have resolved to check the technical condition of the vehicles they drive on their way to holiday. Officers of the Traffic Department, Voivodship Police Headquarters in Gdańsk, will conduct random technical checks of automobiles at selected junctions of the A1 AmberOne Motorway on all Thursdays and Fridays in July and August.
In addition, on 22 July and 30 August an educational stand will be arranged at MOP Kleszczewko (direction: Łódź), offering first aid workshops, there will also be an alco goggle track arranged. The Police officers will remind the drivers of the rules of safe driving and the correct ways of marking the car when broken.
There will be souvenir handouts distributed among the Motorway users: reflective vests, led key fobs, and colouring booklets introducing to the rules of safe driving for the youngest.

Attention Driver, rescue services exercises on A1!

On 5 December, on the A1 motorway at the level of the Kleszczewko MOP, rescue services will carry out exercises consisting in the simulation of an accident. If you notice an accident between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. while driving past the Kleszczewko MOP, please do not call the Operator’s emergency phone number or other rescue services with information about the accident, because during these hours the Kleszczewko MOP will be the place of exercises.

In connection with the planned exercises, the following will take place:

– closing the lane in the direction of Gdańsk and redirecting traffic through the Kleszczewko MOP – parking at the Kleszczewko MOP in the direction of Gdańsk will be inaccessible to heavy goods vehicles
