Our mission is to maintain and operate a safe, efficient and environmentally friendly motorway. We want to achieve this by creating a motorway project that will be operated in a safe, environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner, while maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders and creating a professional working environment.
For years, we have been running an education and information campaign under the slogan SAFETY, MY SECOND NAME, which aims to increase the level of traveler safety on Polish roads – not only on highways, but also in cities and small towns.
The idea of the AmberOne Close to Us program, which we have been implementing since 2017, is to support small social initiatives that are important from the point of view of ecology and road safety in the municipalities around our highway. Local communities have the best knowledge of their needs and the greatest willingness to improve the infrastructure of their area, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of these communities.
AmberOne A1 motorway is not only a road, it is a lot of initiatives and activities aimed at improving road safety. Today we focus on a simple rule: LET’S RESPECT EACH OTHER! safety rules – but not only: the main emphasis is placed on the personal motivation of every driver who makes a choice every day on the road: to do right or wrong.
AmberGreen aims to implement as many “green” solutions as possible to protect the climate. The expected effect of our actions will be to minimize the environmental impact of the motorway. The programme will implement projects related to the gradual introduction of ecological solutions to infrastructure and surroundings on or near the Motorway, e.g. LED lighting, solar panels, waste segregation on MOPs, cooperation with beekeepers, planting plants or environmental education.

The competition awards will go to the projects pursued by the local organisations based in the communes on the A1 AmberOne Motorway, i.e. on the 152 km section of the A1 Motorway, between Rusocin and Nowa Wieś.
Since 2008, Gdańsk Transport Company SA has been organizing an art competition for a Christmas highway card for children from Kuyavian-Pomeranian educational and care institutions.
As part of the AmberGreen program, greenery planting projects will be selected in the municipalities through which the AmberOne A1 Motorway runs, i.e. on the 152 km stretch of the A1 motorway from Rusocina to Toruń Południe.
Traffic is on two lanes in the direction of Gdansk and one lane in the direction of Łódź.
The Stanisławie junction is closed in the direction of Łódź.
The speed limit on the renovated section is 80 km/h.
